When it comes to a standard bloody mary, they’re typically made with tomato juice. But what about making your own tomato water? It’s delicious, fresh and flavorful. And so simple to make.
Combine that with Country Sweet’s spicy hot sauce – and you have a drink fit for the most elegant, or laid back, Sunday brunch.
Also because this recipe calls for beefsteak tomatoes which can be grown hydroponically, the tomato water is equally delicious in the winter.
The Country Sweet Mary
- 6 oz. vodka
- 12 oz. tomato water
- 2 T Country Sweet Sauce (hot)
- 1 T prepared horseradish
- 1 T lemon juice
- 10 shakes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- Celery sticks (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
An hour before serving, place a glass pitcher in the freezer, along with 2 glasses.
Combine all of the ingredients in the chilled pitcher and stir very well.
Divide between the glasses and garnish with celery.
Homemade Tomato Water:
